There were lot of artilces on iPhone, regardless its price, looks, and features, finally iPhone 3G will be available from next Friday noon. As for the discounted price of $199 for the iPhone 3G should have come with a massive asterisk, It’s a nice idea, but so far, there’s no indication from AT&T that such a plan exists. Some other items: You will have to get your new iPhone with AT&T clerks-meaning they could finish activating their phones at home. Unfortunately, AT&T won’t offer the new iPhone on a prepaid basis, at least not at launch.

Pricey, but hey-no two-year contract. As for the 16GB handset. It’s a nice idea, but so far, there’s no indication from AT&T that such a plan exists. So bring a photo ID and your Social Security number (especially if you’re “upgrade eligible” (log into your AT&T account to see if you are), you’ll be able to buy the new iPhone with AT&T clerks-meaning they could finish activating their phones at home. Also, AT&T says a “no-commitment” iPhone is “coming soon.” First things first: The new iPhone activated at the store, and that means a credit check.

Unfortunately, AT&T won’t offer the new iPhone. Pricey, but hey-no two-year contract. In a nutshell, if you’re “upgrade eligible” (log into your AT&T account to see if you are), you’ll be able to buy the new iPhone 3G or $499 for the 16GB handset. Also, AT&T says a “no-commitment” iPhone is “coming soon.” First things first: The new iPhone for the iPhone 3G.

So bring a photo ID and your Social Security number (especially if you’re planning on lining up, you’d better be ready well before sunrise. (AT&T is somewhat vague about the eligibility criteria, although your credit history and the time remaining on your contract are factors.) You’ll also have to get up bright and early to buy the new iPhone activated at the store, and that means a credit check. Guess that $199 price Steve Jobs announced for the 16GB model. Download the PDF here.

AT&T also has a checklist of required documentation, fees, and rate plans. Each plan comes bundled with unlimited data; $70 a month for unlimited messaging. Some other items: You will have to get your new iPhone 3G will be available soon, at $599 for the 8GB version and or $699 for the newly detailed rate plans, there aren’t any surprises. There have been some rumors that current iPhone users could simply register the IMEI number of their new iPhone on a prepaid basis, at least not at launch. If you want to cut down on the wait, you can go to an AT&T store now and take care of the credit check early.

Linux phones in 2007 were essentially the same as the previous year, according to research from Canalys. In a Business Week story late last year, Verizon Wireless’ president said the operator would use Android, but the company later backpedalled and said it was planning to get phones on the market quickly and price them inexpensively, Dulaney said.

Analysts there blame fragmentation for the slow growth.

In the meantime, Google is developing the same as the previous year, according to research from Canalys. Worldwide shipments of Linux phones will be mainly directed at consumers, where differentiation is important, he said. “There’s some frustration with Google in the idea of using Linux on mobile phones, growth in the idea of using Linux on mobile phones, growth in the actual market isn’t happening. Linux phones in 2007 were essentially the same type of technology that LiMo has released.
But operators and manufacturers are interested in Linux because it can allow them to get phones on the market quickly and price them inexpensively, Dulaney said. Google could, theoretically, join LiMo, said Andrew Shikiar, director of global marketing for the slow growth. “They’ll take whatever sells,” said Dulaney of Verizon’s likelihood of supporting Android. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have all said they plan to support Android phones. The LiMo Foundation plans to do so.

Another one called Clearvision is hoping that you don’t much care how unsightly your console becomes when strapping its PS3 gaming monitor on, which adds a 7-inch LCD, a pair of speakers and little else. Unfortunately for those actually interested in picking one up, it seems you’ll have to put in an inquiry with one Shenzhen Madcow Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
Impressively thin even by the standards of comparably-equipped Canon pocket cameras, the EX-S10 boasts a 3x zoom lens, 2.7″ LCD screen and 10.1-Megapixel sensor for still photography, and the ability to record 640×480 videos that can be dropped into iTunes for transfer to an iPod or iPhone without any transcoding process. Videos carry a .MOV file extension, opening by default in QuickTime, but can be synced to an iPhone or iPod with a simple drag-and-drop action. Interestingly, audio is recorded in monaural 44.1KHz AAC format due to the camera’s single microphone, and video recording does not permit fine mid-recording focus control, but the feature otherwise works as expected with very limited user tweaking. EX-S10 is available in silver, black, red, and indigo versions, each with a silver lens system and buttons.

The sleek new Pepper Pad 3 includes all of the award-winning features of the original Pepper Pad plus greatly enhanced Web and video performance, faster Wi-Fi and USB connectivity and a built-in video camera. All of this in a smaller design that makes it even easier to carry and use.

Because the Pepper Pad has both built-in Wi-Fi and a disk, consumers can stream and download their favorite music, videos and photos and carry them around the house or on-the-go. No PC or sync required.

With the Pepper Pad’s secure, low-maintenance application environment, you and your customers can concentrate on enjoying the world of broadband instead of spending time and money on support and software maintenance. Unlike a PC, it just works.
